Manning Park

Manning Park is a great place to take friends or family out for the day. There are a bunch of picnic areas, tennis courts, and a historic carriage house. The landscape is full of trees and a part of the park was once an estate. There is also a baseball field that reminds me of playing in the park when I was a child.

It's a very diverse park, so there is always something for everyone to do no matter what age you are. Manning Park will definitely be packed come this summer.

I personally like to hike the many different trails, play a little bit of tennis and then fire up the grill and have a cook out. The youngsters in the family like to play on the playground, and the women typically like to observe the bird sanctuary.
