Through the Mountains🌄

Yesterday, myself and a few friends of mine jumped into the van and decided to take a drive through the hills. What was supposed to be a little 2-3 hour drive, ended up turning into 3 days! It was really nice to get up in the hills.

Temperature was about 10 degrees cooler. We got a bunch of mist the first morning, which was nice while we made eggs and bacon on the camp stove, while sipping piping hot coffee. The mountains are extremely green this time of the year, even though we haven't gotten much rain yet.

A peaceful retreat for sure. I'm not sure why it takes us so long just to get out there and do things we know we like. It's like we have this built in mechanism that pushes us away from things we truly enjoy. I'm not sure why it works that way. So in times like this, I put those thought aside, saddle up and get out there in the world and do the things I enjoy the most. We only have one life to live. One love.
