Traditional dresses were used in ordinary occasions back then and mostly for folklore shows these days. Each small region differs from another. However, blue and red with white are the most used combinations. :)

Elegant dresses. Like it.
Very well attired and elegant figures, no doubt. They seem to be taken from a fairy tale; of course, our imaginary has been nourished by the versions painted in children's books and films.
Many of the clothes that were used in the past, now would be impossible to use. Not only because of the climate, but also because of the amount of fabric required for certain suits. I can't imagine, with the heat of this city, corset and pantyhose. Or maybe it's all a matter of habit. Interesting images, @velimir.
