A modern day carriage. It is used to bring people atop a hill with a beautiful castle and a grand view. I like the traditions being kept, even though only for tourist purposes.

I like it when some traditions are maintained, especially to consider and maintain part of our historical and cultural memory. Through these resources we can get an idea of how our ancestors lived, @velimir. The detail is that I don't know if I like to see horses do this kind of thing! In that last image the horse looks so sad. Or will it be my imagination? Nice day for you!
The ride in this type of transport is very enjoyable because we can share in tourist spaces, we can see complete landscapes in the open sky and perceive the aroma of nature. Thank you for sharing your photos, @velimir. Enjoy your day. A hug.

You can see a lot of that here in Manila Philippines. It is also a tradition being kept for tourists.
Walks by this means of transport are very pleasant, because, in addition to preserving a tradition, they allow a more direct contact with the natural or cultural environment, and even a closer interaction with other passengers. In my country (Venezuela, particularly in a city called Merida) they were put into practice. I was struck by the close-up photo of the horse: a beautiful specimen, no doubt.
