Blog #1 - Perth Paradise Resort - Philippines

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemians,

I'am Winky from Philippines a weekend traveler. I'm new here in Steemit which a friend introduced me to this site. Since I love to share my photos and travel experience, for sure this site will help me to engage other people all over the world to explore the beauty of God's creation and for them to know how beautiful to explore places and learn different culture. So far I'm still learning how this site works because honestly I don't know where/how to start. :) I hope you guys will help me. :)

For the meantime I will share to you my travel experience in "Perth Paradise Resort" Sipalay, Negros Occidental and nearby places.

It took us 4 hrs. travel from Silay International Airport going to Perth Paradise Resort. It is located at Sitio Sambulawan, Barangay 4,.

What is unique to Perth among the other resorts nearby is its infinity pool at the hilltop. You need more than a hundred steps to get there. When you reach on top for sure you will enjoy the pristine scenery. There’s also a view deck on the rooftop for a more breathtaking view.

Birds serenade the place from a nearby trees while the early morning sunlight slowly lit the shadowed islands from afar. It's a paradise!

HOW TO GET THERE:

Commute:

From Bacolod, ride Ceres Bus or van bound to Sipalay
P210 fare via bus approximately 5 hrs.
P250 fare via van approximately 3 hrs.
Upon reaching the town proper, ride a tricycle going to the resort.

Private:

From town proper, go straight to Barangay 4 or you can ask locals for the resort’s location.

Day After:

Since we have enough time to explore Sipalay Negros Occidental, we decided to explore nearby places such as "Tinagong Island" that will took you 20min. from Perth Paradise Resort.

Tinagong Dagat means “hidden sea”. It is literally secluded by limestone walls. In the middle of the secret bay, there’s an islet which can be accessed via footbridge. The resort has its 150-meter hanging bridge which connect to islet to Tinagong Island.

If you really want to indulge more of the place’s hidden wonder, you guys can climb at the hilltop for about 123 steps. Look at the photos below how wonderful the views when you reach the top. Worth to climb!

HOW TO GET THERE:

From Perth Paradise Resort, you can ask the receptionist to help you to get tricycle or habal-habal driver going to Tinagong Island that cost P50 one way.

After we explore the place we went back to Perth Paradise Resort to watch sunset but unfortunetly I lost my tripod and I used stone to support my phone..lol
