Travel Pro Architecture #60: Athens Greece! Part Four (9 photos)
Hey there my friends and followers! In this Travel Pro Series we focus on significant structures, buildings, and general architecture of a given area. Everywhere in the world is different from the way people look and speak, to the food they eat, to customs, traditions, all the way down to the buildings they live in. My favorite thing to do is simply walk around and take in the environment of each place I visit. So this series gives you an idea of what that may be like and how influential these structures really are.
Athens Greece is a city of great history, it's where Socrates and Aristotle are from. The ancient structures dating back before 400 BC are wildly impressive and are one of the main attractions to visit while in Athens. As you get closer to the center of downtown there are ancient ruins speckled all over the place. It really makes going for a walk in this part of the city special.
The northern half of the city is not in the best condition and there was a surprisingly high amount of graffiti and dilapidation. However the architecture all over the city seemed to be a mix of old and new with a clear European element. Now come along lets have a closer look at the buildings and structures of Athens Greece!

Athens look so grubby, @world-travel-pro! I only was at the airport there on the way to Rhodos Island years ago. Over there all the beaches were oil covered. Pellets of oil on the rocks. So disappointing.

Yeah, was pretty bummed to join steemit at 3 dollars and falling. He was gaining a following and more with his financial reports, but not worth the time for him. At $3 it would have been for sure.
