#1 Taipei: Longshan Temple // Taipeh: Longshan-Tempel

Our first feature post is from @vieanna, she's visiting a temple in Taiwan. The 280 year old Longshan Temple has been destroyed by natural and man made disasters over the years but have always been rebuilt, and today is located in the oldest settlement in Taipei. In her post, @vieanna shares with us interesting traditions, who the gods in the temple are and how they give advice to worshippers. Her photos brings out all the intricate details of the temple and you can practically feel the atmosphere from the photos.

#2 [EN] Ukraine: Lviv backyards - backyard of lost toys

A toy museum may not sound unusual, but how about an outdoor toy museum filled with lost toys? @velmafia went to one in Ukraine which was located in a back yard behind a building. Life here started 20 years ago when someone found two toys and placed them here. Overtime when other people found toys they bought them here as well. Gradually a swing, sandpit and fountain were added and this turned into a museum. Anybody can come here to play with the toys and take them home. I think this is a great idea to recycle toys and I hope they will eventually find a loving owner.

#3 Did anyone hear about Belize?

@route-m-d went to Belize for 2 weeks and were taken back by how much there is to see and do here. They stayed away from the busy tourist locations and went to a small village called San Antonio. The owner of the place they stayed at is descendant of Maya and shared many interesting cultural stories with them. Through her, they visited a a waterfall hidden in the jungle and sacred Mayan cave.
