#1 Walkabout Straya #1: A stormy first week at the west coast!

First, @r00sj3 takes us to Australia where her well-laid plans didn't quite work out. After a long flight from Europe, she arrives in Perth, where, overcoming jetlag, she then flies to Geraldton. Her first stop is Hutt Lagoon, a gorgeous pink lake that gets its colour from the algae in the water. She then makes her way to Kalbarri and the Coastal Cliffs passing stunning viewpoint after viewpoint. However, a massive storm disrupts her plans to visit Monkey Mia the next day. With that plan in tatters, will she have time to visit Kalbarri National Park before heading back to Perth? We will have to wait to find out.

#2 Travel: The best views comes after the hardest climbs

Next, @guchtere takes us to Debela Pec, Slovenia for a must-do hike with stunning views of Triglav, Rjavins and Krms Valley. While the trail itself is not that great, the views are stunning making the 14km round trip hike worthwhile. Triglav National Park is one of Europe's oldest and is well protected by Slovenians. Wildlife in the area includes bears and lynx, but only a fox and an unidentified animal came out to play that day. He also came across a fairy ring of mushrooms but no myth to go along with it.

#3 Hello Ise

Finally, @livinguktaiwan takes us to Isa, Japan, a small seaside town she almost skipped. While there, she goes out to sea to watch a 69-year old Ama diver (which originated in Isa) dive without an oxygen tank. There is more to come on this story so stay tuned for that. She also visits The Meoto Iwa, which is two sacred rocks connected by a strong straw rope called a shimenawa, the Grand Shine from the seventh century, and the Asama Mountain viewpoint. To top all this off, she stays in a traditional hotel with great views and meals that look more like art than food.
