#1 The Genghis Khan Statue | A bizarre sight in the Mongolian Countryside

@soyrosa spent a month in Mongolia and this is her first post about her trip. Genghis Khan is famous in Mongolia and what better way to remember him than a massive statue in the middle of nowhere. The statue is so hugh that its dimension didn't change at all as @soyrosa walks up the stairs towards it. At the top of the stairs is a museum, and if you go one level up you can go outside to see the Monglian countryside. Standing underneath such a great man and great statue certainly makes one feels very small.

#2 A visit at RIZAL SHRINE in Calamba, Laguna

@travelsbyblue went on an school educational trip with his child to visit the historical house of the National Hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal, also known as the Rizal Shrine. The original Spanish-Colonial two-story house was destroyed during the second world war and this is a a rebuild. The house is a museum and contains many memorabilia of Rizal and his family. There's also a seperate building showcasing many of Rizals life works and story. The house is considered an upper class mansion and you can tell from the decor that was fit for the promiment guests of the day.

#3 Reog in Bedingin Village, Ponorogo, East Java

Our last featured post is from @gibic who takes us to see a traditional dance from Indonesia called Reog Ponorogo. The lead dancer wears a singa barong mask which is a massive mask of a lion which is 2.5m wide and can weigh up to 60kg! The dance was traditionally performed after harvest with spectators holding a light or torch only making it even more magical and spooky. Definitely an unforgetable experience.
