#1 Exploring Red Sea port Aqaba, Jordan: Beneath the Water & the Present

Jordan is most famous for Petra and Wadi Rum, but there's a third place, the Aqaba which together forms the golden triangle of Jordan. @ctdots went diving there. Aqaba has 27k stretch of Red Sea and plenty of snorkeling and diving opportunities. You can go diving at Aqaba all year round, but some months can get too hot, others too rainy or too crowdy so you need to see what suits you best. If you want to find out a bit more about Aqaba, the nearby places and what you can expect to see when you diving, check out @ctdots's post.

#2 One memorable weekend: paragliding and on top of the mountain!

From underwater we go up to the sky. Our next featured post is from @lightcaptured who went paragliding in Bulgaria. It was a three day adventure and his destination is above the Rose Valley famous for growing Damascus Roses used to produce rose oil. Before he starts his paragliding adventure, he drove passed an abandoned communist monument that looks like a flying saucer and a herd of wild horses. Paragliding starts in the afternoon, and from the photos it was an absolute stunning adventure. He flew over lavender fields, Russian style architectural church, and fields and countryside scenes that looks like a computer game.

#3 The hidden gem of Yorkshire - The SPURN

Our last featured post is from @rimicane, she takes us to a hidden gem in UK. It is called The SPURN and people used to live here since the early 19th century till stormy weather washed over the peninsula causing a hole in it. Eventually people had to move away as there was no roads anymore. Today it is a beautiful remote nature spot for bird watchers, wildlife, photography, heritage lovers, hikers and fauna enthusiasts. There is a lighthouse and cafe here, as well as some militrary structures, and the the remoteness of The SPURN means there is an abundance of wildlife here. @rimicane nearly didn't want to leave The SPURN, but if you stay for too long you will get stranded when the tide comes.

That was a very worthy post @lightcaptured, the view from above is awesome!

Thank you! Indeed, a different perspective! ;)

Small but great selection ;)

Agree! Especially great is the post by @ctdots, he has some exceptional experiences in his life!

The posts are sadly dwindling a bit at the moment but luckily we still manage to find some gems every day. Hopefully everyone will keep posting so we don't let our VP go to waste

Wow, thank you! I have not expected it at all! I am glad you enjoyed the story about SPURN!

You're welcome @rimicane. It's a pity that no one can live on The SPURN anymore but maybe that's not such a bad thing for it to become a home for the natural life. Hopefully you can go back again one day and spend more time there

Thank you for featuring me among other great authors! :)
