#2 How to make the most of the Sapporo Snow Festival - JAPAN

Next, @haydae offers some tips for the annual Snow Festival in the northern Japanese city of Sapporo, Hokkaido. On January 31st, the whole city will be adorned with spectacular ice sculptures, endearing characters made of snow and a variety of fun activities like ice-skating. They teach us how to brace for the cold and how to pick a hotel with a private onsen. Besides, they advise to plan the trip ahead and to try some typical Hokkaido food.

At last, let's follow @itravelarts for a calm journey in Auroville. This peaceful town is located in southern India and is approx 6 hours drive from Bangalore. It focuses on unity, sustainable living, environmental and spiritual needs. The concept of Auroville is an ideal community devoted to an experiment in human unity and transformation of consciousness. She shows us the Kolam making, the Matrimandir, streets and cafes, and the Sunfarm house they stayed.
