Rolls on the Red Island

The Red Island is located in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, it is washed on one side by the South River, and on the other by the Shardenga River.
The island can be reached from the villages of Morozovitsa and Schekino, which are located on the banks of the Shardenga River. Well, on the boat, of course, from any place.

In local fishermen, this island is a favorite place - from it get to the left bank of the South.

Last year, I myself participated in fishing in the area of ​​this island, and this year we were also very close.

The flood plain was once possible as a river bed of one of the rivers.

There are rolls for people, and these for cows!

The forest is another shore. There are only willow bushes on the island. On the opposite bank behind the forest there are villages and settlements. But there are no houses on the island.

In the distance, you can see a steep bank on the South River from the previous post.

And in this place you can move the river Shardenga. In the middle of summer it can be moved even on a passenger car.
