Today is the opening of Masskara festival and most of the " Bacolodnon's " are very excited. Because this month we are going to celebrate our very own special event. Where you can enjoy the fun activities, dance together with smiling masskara, all night street party, jamming with the bands and many more.

Our city mayor work hard to bring the best celebration that we could experience this month. Actually! for the past celebrations the festivity lasted only for 2 weeks, but now we have enough time to feel the prolong version until the 28th of October.

Here are the schedule of events of 39th Masskara Festival 2018 that will served as your guide for you not to miss out any of the activities

Important Reminders!

• Please avoid wearing backpacks that deployed securities won't let you in as part of the protocol
• Bring enough water to hydrate yourself
• secure you wallets and avoid wearing jewelries
• bring umbrella incase of unexpected raindrops
• wear well ventilated shirts
• as much as possible wear closed shoes
• don't leave young companions unattended
• consume alcohol what you can tolerate
• expect heavy traffic ( I suggest it's better to take a walk )

In terms of security measure and to protect the people in Bacolod, with or without events there are 2-3 deployed police in every designated places. Where you can ask for assistance or help if you want to raise your concerns. For sure the gravity of security is different than normal days. Simply follow the rules during the frisking upon entering activity areas and bag inspections.
