📷Akhaltsikhe (Rabat Fortress) - Part 2

in #travelfeed5 years ago (edited)

So, the Akhaltsikhe fortress Rabat. Yes, we will continue our, so to speak, virtual trip-walk for you. Rabat Fortress is a new tourist place visited by tourists from different countries every day. I show and tell you what I saw. My impressions expressed in photographs.

The western, upper, part of the city is considered a museum territory. There we climbed the stairs from the bottom. There is also an entrance from a separate gate from the north, that part has a stepped structure, and then you will have to go up all the time.
The highest part of the fortress is called the Akhaltsikhe Citadel.

The upper part is separated from the lower stone wall.

Inside the walls there is a lot of interesting things! These are the Palace, towers, courtyards with pools and fountains, enfilades, a small garden-maze.

Follow me soon!

As I told you earlier, you can climb the wall everywhere and look at the surroundings.

Looking at the world from this window!😊

How interesting!

Arches, ... mazes 🙂

We went into a small garden. On the territory there is a gazebo with a fountain, a Moorish-style covered gallery, the Ahmediye Mosque and the Samtskhe-Javakheti Museum
