In our travels, we often miss some historical monuments and buildings that were undeservedly forgotten by tourists, and we will go to such places today.

Shukhov tower was included in the Federal list of cultural heritage, and built this unique structure in 1930 by the famous engineer-architect Vladimir Grigorievich Shukhov. In the pre-war years it was used as a water tower, and on the top was a huge tank for 18 thousand liters.

The design of the net tower barrel has the shape of a hyperboloid. It consists of counter-directed and intersecting rectilinear inclined branches. And the massive rods of the trunk are connected with special rivets.

When at the top of the tower was still a large tank of water, the people went exciting legends and stories about its inhabitants.

Some media in the 90s even published articles that reveal the "terrible secret" that enterprising businessmen breed crocodiles on the Shukhov tower :-)

Openwork hyperboloid design is located almost in the center of Krasnodar at the intersection of Volodya Golovatogo and Rashpilevskaya.

Now the tower is surrounded by one of the largest entertainment shopping centers of the South of Russia "gallery", but it remains free access from the city circus.

Around the circus building there are many tall trees and lawns. However, the facade is long overdue and would be updated.

There are flowers everywhere. This you immediately, perhaps, learned? Phlox very beautiful and delicate plants, and translated from the Greek language, the name of the flower means "flame".

And we have it grows both in the squares and on the Central avenues of the city. From here, this unique design is also perfectly visible.

Very close to the Shukhov tower is an interesting sculptural composition "Students". A prototype of a couple of students walking down the street, served as the famous Comedy 60s.

The composition was established in 2012 and since then Krasnodar Shurik and Lidochka seem to go next to passers-by. According to the idea of the author of the project Valery Pchelin, students seem to pass through a bronze hatch, which was built into the already prepared base on the Boulevard itself.

Remember how the heroes of this Comedy were preparing for exams, reading one abstract for two on the go.

The sculpture is installed on the alley in front of the building of the Kuban technological University. There are many beautiful flower beds nearby.
