Melbourne Nightscape 墨尔本夜景

Today I would like to share with you some nightscape photos from the city of Melbourne. All these pictures were taken at the South Bank along the Yarra River, the entertainment district in Melbourne CBD. There is a pedestrian pathway along the edge of the river, providing a great viewpoint for admiring the Melbourne skyline. Looking across the Yarra River, the CBD is full of office buildings. May be not as dramatic as the Sydney CBD skyline, but still pretty charming.

今天我想和大家分享一下墨尔本的夜景。这些照片都是在墨尔本的South Bank拍摄。South Bank 是墨尔本市中心的娱乐区。沿着雅拉河畔有一条行人小径，让游人可以漫步欣赏墨尔本的风光。眺望雅拉河对岸，墨尔本市中心高楼林立。虽然看上去没有悉尼繁华，也不失为一道亮丽的天际线。

Blue light illuminated the walkway below the highway next to Sea Life Melbourne, giving this beautiful blue glow that reflects nicely in the river.

漂亮的蓝灯照亮了墨尔本水族馆旁高速公路下的行人道，在河面上映射了一条亮亮的蓝带。

Going further alone, the Flinders Street Station comes into view. This beautiful central railway station was built in 1909 and had become an icon of Melbourne ever since. The Victorian style building looked beautiful under the night lights.

再往前走，墨尔本的地标弗林德街车站清晰可见。这座墨尔本的中央火车站建于1909，已经有一百多年历史。古典的维多利亚风格建筑在夜灯照亮下看上去份外优雅。

The Crown complex on the South bank is the major entertainment hub of Melbourne, housing the Crown Casino as well as a number of high end restaurants and the Crown hotel. Every night on the hour from 9 pm till midnight you can see a fiery display of their Fire Show which is amazing to watch and fun to photograph. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see the show this time.

South Bank 的皇冠娱乐城是墨尔本市中心的大型娱乐中心，是皇冠赌场，皇冠酒店以及众多高级餐厅的所在地。每晚九点钟后每个小时这里都会有让人惊艳的火焰表演，值得一看，可惜这次时间不对，没办法欣赏。

Scrolling further along the banks, you arrive at the rainbow pedestrian bridge, a pedestrian bridge that links the Flinders Street station to South Bank. When I was there, there was a red gift bow on the top of the bridge, a decoration for Christmas celebrations.

再往前走就到了漂亮的彩虹行人桥。这条行人桥连接着弗林得街车站和South Bank。可以看到桥上红丝带，这是为了庆祝圣诞而放的装饰。
