Looking at the current world situation, we can says the we are not safe and their is a war like situation looming across the different territories. *But does that threat is only now??? Looking at the Gignatic walls of RedFort. I was wondering how much people use to think of their protection in earlier times.
One of the famous landmark of India is RedFort. Built with big heavy stones and surrounded by Gignatic walls.

Situated in old Delhi vicinity, so many rulers ruled and set throne in this fort. There were so many stories behind these big walls, which were especially made to protect the kingdom from outside threat. Salute to those craftsman, or labours who have made so much effort in building these structures. Big walls across and high ditch across the walls which not allowing anyone to reach near to the walls.

There were so much efforts were made onto the security. So many holes on top of the fort to keep a visit outside. No only this there were two gates to enter into the fort. Quite remarkable made.

This is the second gate which take us to the main kings place. There is big walls opposite to this place as well. Where still the Prime Minister of India hoist our National Flag on 15-Aug every year to mark the Independence Day.

The gate further takes us to the well crafted and maintained market. All resembles the ancient look with small shops on both side, where still some of the stores still running selling some artifacts and kids toys and jewellery.

This place is called as "Chatta Bazar" or we say Umbrella Market due to Umbrella like shape on top. Surely looking at the top anyone can say this happens to be a royal market place at those times. Still those high rooftop and high walls, only says that those tillers were more concerned of their protection.

Even in these market, ample focus were on the security, with kind of soldiers guarding at each corner . They have seperate rooms made for placing themselves.

No doubt, the threat of being attacked have been carried since long. It's the ancient gift which keeps passing and that still being carried till now, and every nation is doing their best to protect their territory from every possible threat.
