For example, I was so surprised by this exhibition that I rummaged through the Internet bins and found out such details that I wanted to share.

The exhibition is organized after the release of the UN Report on endangered species of marine fish. The facts and figures in the report are impressive.
After 40 years, the world's reserves of large species of fish, such as tuna, will almost completely disappear. As a result, fishing will depend on stocks of small species of fish, approximately 20 centimeters long.
Overfishing leads to this, it turns out we catch fish 33% more than necessary. The number of fish caught is twice the growth. Europeans consume far more seafood than they can catch in the seas and oceans and grow them in fish farms. Already by the summer of this year, the entire annual catch was eaten. Then all the fish comes from imports from developing countries.

Every European resident eats 22, 7 kilograms of seafood per year. If I'm not mistaken, it is about 0.5 kilogram per week. Just one small fish. It seems and not so much. But the report says that we have already eaten 41% of the fish stocks of the Atlantic Ocean and 88% of the Mediterranean Sea. Catastrophe. Fish do not have time to multiply. Like so many caviar toss, but still not enough.

The increasing catch of fish is also affecting fish stocks in developing countries, which are largely dependent on this valuable resource. Indeed, for more than 800 million people worldwide, fish is the source of income and lifestyle associated with fishing.
In addition, there is a constant increase in the temperature of the upper layers of water in the oceans under the influence of climate change. In addition, land pollution from the seas continues.

Many different measures to eliminate this “fish” problem are indicated in the Report. What is needed is the will for their realization and the desire not only to preserve this world, but to make it cleaner and more beautiful.
