🌉America - Weekly Round-Up #24
Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed America roundup brought to you by @guchtere and @for91days.
Forget the curation trail, the Inca Trail is the real deal! In the first articles of today's America round-up, we're taking you to Machu Picchu, acclimating to the high altitude. Then, we'll go on hitchhiking on the island of Chiloé in Chile, where the protagonist got rained on for five days straight, making him smell like a fish (his words). And a camping trip to Rainbow Falls Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada, is the closing article of this week's recap of adventures in the Western Hemisphere.
Three BEST posts for America

I am at a moderate elevation, 2,601 m (8,534 ft), and have been acclimatizing for the past 2 days in Cusco. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, I began preparing for the journey ahead. I met our guide and porters and received the final instructions before being left to explore the city.

Some people told us that the backpackers had been sleeping on the main park, however I saw the Police kicking out the backpackers who were over the green areas. Incredibly there were no camping sites nearby, so my friends decided to go to a hostel, leaving me on my own trying to figure out what to do.

Next up was Niagara Falls. I didn't have high expectations for this place but I actually loved it. It's one of those places that can be appreciated purely because of its size and power. Yeah it's touristy but it's a massive waterfall. Over 2.5 million litres of water flows over Horeshoe Falls each second.
