This festival is hosted within the Ancient City of Pingyao's city wall. It is a UNESCO Heritage site and promises a plethora of photographic opportunities when you're not in the workshops, seminars or walking around taking in the awesome photography opportunities all around you.

Kape-an is from the word "kape" meaning coffee and "an" is added to denote a place. "Kape-an" then means a place to drink coffee. If you notice in the picture below KAPE-AN are the words "Sekep kayo ali" which is an Ibaloi language meaning "come in" or welcome.

As you know, we love heritage and authentic always wins over modern in our eyes, but at the E&O Hotel, we didn't have to choose. There we got the legit historical charm with modern necessities.
