Exploring Red Sea port Aqaba, Jordan: Beneath the Water & the Present

Together with Wadi Rum and Petra, the City of Aqaba forms a golden triangle for the tourists. in the Kingdom of Jordan. The first settlement in the region dates as much as to 4000 BC with the modern version being the only water port in Jordan. In order to attract more investment and tourism, Aqaba was turned into low-tax, duty-free city. Probably, the greatest days of this place lies somewhere ahead in the future.

The Lamma Island & Hong Kong Central - Hong Kong [Day 2]

After a well deserved night of sleep I'm ready to go to the Lamma Island. Well I'm a bit later than intended. My goal was to wake up before sunrise. But I didn't make it. I was super tired and jet lagged after yesterday. It was also past midnight before I finally went to sleep and I woke up at around 2 am because my roommate is the loudest snorer ever!

Indonesia #16: The best way(s) to visit Borobudur!

We did a lot of research before this trip, which is the best way to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Borobudur. We read a lot of blogs and forums, but somehow we did not find the "perfect" solution before. We only knew in advance that we did not want to do an overpriced guided tour (as they are also offered to Mt. Bromo). Now that we have been there, we can rightly claim that we have found the best way to visit Borobudur.
