New Delhi to Berlin on Turkish Airlines

We had a Boeing 777-300 which would take us from New Delhi to Istanbul from where we would catch a connecting flight. It had all this entertainment system with games, movies, music and stuff to keep us entertained.

I didn't bother using it except for checking the ETA. Rest of the time I was trying to catch some sleep since I hadn't slept for 24 hours.

The flight had some really tasty food, which felt extra tasty because I hadn't had proper food in the last few hours.

Istanbul airport was huge. It was a hub for a lot of connecting flights and hence was a rush.

It was kinda tricky to read the boards there but managed and got to my boarding gate. I met a few guys from my country here.

We caught the connecting flight and as soon as the flight took off, we were welcomed by this wonderful view of the Turkish shores.

I loved the system of transport in Berlin:
You buy a 2.80 Euro ticket that you can travel anywhere in Berlin for 2 hours.

There's another ticket for 7.7 Euro that you can use to travel unlimitedly from the time you validate the ticket until 3 am in the morning.

And the best part is you can use it both on buses and metros to reach almost all the places in the city.

I was planning to meet @sjennon and @things once I reach Berlin.

When I reached the hostel, I was in no condition to even go out to have lunch. Thanks to 36 hours of no sleep and jet lag.

I dozed off to wake up late night to get some dinner.

Next day @varunpinto would be arriving in Berlin.
