Travel Tip: Castolovice Chateau, Renaissance gem full of impressive art works

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will take you to another spectacular chateau of our country, the famous Castolovice Chateau.

Located in a town of the same name (Castolovice) in the Hradec Kralove Region, the Castolovice Chateau is a majestic Renaissance chateau built in the early 17th century on what used to be a Gothic fortification. One of the most visited tourist attractions of the area, the chateau is surrounded by perfectly maintained English-style park that occupies a total area of 42 ha.

The interiors of the chateau are also very interesting as they house an extensive collection of artworks dating back to different eras, including Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Empire and Bierdermaier. The chateau often hosts art exhibitions and it is also a very popular place for weddings and other festive events.

Wow! this is something really important for the people who love ancient architectural buildings. English touch to Castolovice Chateau is also a source of attraction for the tourists.
