Where do I belong?

Am I a seed to a flower?
or a seed to a fruit tree?
Plant me,
and you will see
and I will be keen to show you my leaves.

Let me grow
and give me a go.
Let me grow where there is sun,
add some water
and I'll show you what I can become.

The seed that has blossomed
and turned into a beautiful apple tree.

Which not only gives you some food to eat,
but provides you with shade
on those hot and sweltering days.

You see, that seed
that you thought would never breed
has now created a forest
and air for us to breath.
