The Big Tree.
Welcome to the Big Tree this one is located west of the timber town of Geeveston south west of Hobart Tasmania. They have just upgraded the viewing platform not long before i went there a couple of months ago so that was nice.

Now some pics of the giant tree.
This tree is not the tallest in Australia that record is held by a tree called Centurion also in Tasmania at a confirmed 99.6 metres. This also makes it world's tallest flowering plant.
This tree is available for you to visit for free and that is my kind of entry fee :) This giant tree made me feel rather small standing near it. Also the other trees around it look tiny and they normaly look big them selves.
