Some areas of forests have less dense tree populations, caused by mature trees blocking out light and the possibly of growth under their canopies. You can see the ultraviolet sky peaking through the leaves of the large trees, a cobalt blue setting behind the foliage. The sun was starting to head into the West as it was past noon but mostly hidden behind the trees.

This first photo is my entry for #treetuesday started by @old-guy-photos

You can see the Lichen on the first tree in the middle of the shot is reflecting a little infrared light.

There are two horses that wonder around these grounds, as someone has them for pets and allow them to walk around this multi acre space.
