Tree Tuesday - Palm Trees

Crown of a palm tree with new fronds.

For perspective, the crown is about the size of a soccer ball.

This is a young, short palm tree growing on my street. What an interesting opportunity for a view of the crown! I have never seen the crown of a palm up close.

Traditional California Dreaming photo :) Taken near an office building a few blocks from my house. Palm trees are more common in southern California but also grow in the San Francisco bay area.
