Tree Tuesday a colorful tree
This is a post for Tree Tuesday hosted by @old-guy-photos A challenge I try to join as often as I can, as I am always watching out for interesting trees, perhaps because I work in the concrete jungle that is NYC.
And for this weeks post I will share some shots of a tree that caught my eye when I was out for a stroll in downtown Milford a little over a week ago.

As I was walking around downtown I came across this tree in the little green strip in the car park area behind the Milford Library, and with its warm colors it was a nice change from all the bare trees around so I had to get a shot.

Then I took a closer look and saw all the color was these orangy red buds on the tree, which got me thinking has the ups and downs in temperatures and a couple of days in the 60's confused this tree to think spring was already here, it must be in a bit of shock with the cooler temperatures back again this week.

And finishing off with another shot of these pods, almost all nice of colorful but one willing to be a little different.

Maybe it's a Japanese persimmon?

Whatever tree it is it is very pretty. I have seen a few around town but have no clue.

That is crazy! I would have thought those were leaves too from the picture. Very nice shot of a very interesting tree.
Thats what I thought as well and thought it was odd to see such colorful leaves at this time of the year, so I was intrigued and had to take a closer look
