Hello steemians!
I am RYO!

Do you know the Japanese "Hina Festival"?

The The Hina Festival is a traditional event with a long history in Japan.
Its history is old and is said to be a traditional event that has continued since "Heian period(About 1000 years ago)"

Usually, the Hina festival puts dolls on a pedestal of about 3 to 5 steps

However, I went to the place where the biggest Hina festival in Japan is held!
It's a truly amazing scale!

I am taking this picture from the third floor of a large building…Wow!

Very very big Hina pyramid!
Compare with the person in the lower left of the picture

I went to the ground floor and saw it nearby

This pyramid is in the shopping mall,
The height of the pyramid is 7 meters! There are 31 stages of pedestals!

This is Japan's largest Hina festival,
This town is famous for the Hina Festival, so there made this huge Hina pyramid accordingly

These are called Hina dolls

There are also many dolls in front of the Hina pyramid

There are 1830 dolls in total

By the way, what is the origin and meaning of the Hina Festival?

The beginning seems to be during the Heian period, but at first it seems to be popular as a play of nobles

And it seems to be popular among the people as time goes by,
Someday it became a girl's "ward off bud luck" event

These dolls seem to suck out bud luck

There was a panda doll for some reason😆

The Hina Festival is not long, so this Hina pyramid will be removed in about a month.

Actually I visited this event last year and posted it on steemit,
But I also visited this year because I like this beautiful event😊

I'm glad I could visit this event

And This is a pamphlet, It also has English sentences

During the Hina festival, women wear Japanese clothes and take pictures,
If you visit Japan in the beginning of March, you may be able to wear Japanese clothes and take pictures of the Hina Festival😃

Thank you for reading!

Do they sell the hina too? Or just for exhibition? Look at panda face.. he looked so sad

It can also be purchased, Of course it is a doll for sale not from this pyramid😉
Is that so? I saw the panda look fun😆
