Hello steemians!
I am RYO!

I went to see wisteria flowers today!
Wisteria is one of the most beloved flowers in Japan like Sakura!

Wisteria flowers are not in as many places as Sakura, so it need to go a certain place to see.

I went to a temple where wisteria flowers are blooming!

Beautiful azalea blooms at the entrance

Because temple, So Buddha is there

There were many small Buddhas at the feet of Buddha😲

So very cute😆

And these are wisteria flowers!

very beautiful!!

A lot of wisteria flowers bloom in a wide range!

The wisteria flower smells so good that many bees are sucking in honey!
But Unfortunately the bee was so quick that I could not shoot…😂

Let's take a look at the wisteria flower

The wisteria flower has a vine growing and many flowers bloom

Furthermore, the white wisteria flower was also blooming!

White wisteria flowers are not lots more than purple wisteria flowers,But it was very beautiful😊

Usually the age of many wisteria flowers is less than 200 years old, but the age of this white wisteria flower is 270 years old!

But in fact, purple wisteria flowers are even older!

It is over 600 years old!!
This temple was made in 1466, so it is almost the same age!

I was very moved because that wisteria flowers of this long age are rare😊

Furthermore, the unique point of this temple is that I can see the wisteria flowers from above the central temple

Inside is Buddha

This is the entrance side

And here is the side where a lot of wisteria flowers are blooming

I often shoot the flowers of the wisteria from below, but the places I can shoot from above are so rare that I enjoyed the scenery😃

I thought that collaboration between temple and wisteria flowers was unique and beautiful😊

The wisteria flower is the same as the Sakura and will die in about two weeks,
So I'm going to enjoy wisteria flowers in some places.

I was really lucky to see a 600-year-old wisteria flower😀

Thank you for reading!
Arigatou gozaimashita!

Oh, Somehow your comment is not reflected in partiko's notice…why?🤔
It was good because I noticed by chance😅

I did not check but the little Buddha is probably for sale, And I think people put it there for a wish😊
Thank you for reading!😀

Maybe because I type in busy.org😂 ask partiko not me then Ryo-kun 😉

Next time you go there again😉 take one 😂😂

Oh, Okay! There has been no problem until now, but this seems to happen occasionally😅

Ahaha Yeah! I want to visit this place to see wisteria flowers again next year😁

So wisteria also blooms at the same time with sakura, once a year for 2 weeks? Well.. at least you can have it for 2 weeks day and night 😆 while my queen of the night only blooms 3-5 times a year (if the temperature is low) and only few hours at the night.

I saw that at this shrine, the wisterias planted in a row and line, and I think they prevented the branches to bend down closely to the earth so then the flowers will fall beautifully too.

Sakura are around April, but wisteria flowers are around May😊
Both will only bloom for about 2 weeks, but I think that it can be seen for a month because the blooming time is slightly different depending on the place and type.

Is there a flower called queen there?
I think in Japan there is probably no flower called queen…🤔

Yeah! It needs to be managed to grow on the fence so that the branches do not fall😃

Love the flowers! The colors are so vibrant!

Sure! Thank you for reading😉

Bringing the flowers zooming in to a close up view made me feel that i was in a purple shower of blossoms. Truly gorgeous.
Yes, they bloom for a month at the most and I had a double flowered one in my garden in Johannesburg South Africa that took 8 years before it flowered.

Oh, Are there any wisteria flowers in South Africa? I didn't know😲
Yeah, I think it will probably take a very long time…8 years? It is great to be bred for that long time!
Thank you for reading!😀

What an amazing sight! I can't believe that a vine could be that old! It must take a lot of work to take care of them and make sure they are healthy. I'm so glad you visited the temple and shared your beautiful pictures. It makes me want to go too!

Thank you for comment!
In Japan there are many plants with a long history like this…I have never visited, but there are also a thousand-year-old wisteria flower and a 2,000-year-old cherry blossom😊
You should visit them someday!😉 Thank you!
