What should be done about Donald Trump?

I'm absolutely convinced that Donald Trump is a madman. He's attacking our government. He's attacking our institutions. He's attacking our people. How much longer can this go on? I could go into detail, but anyone who is wide-awake, and following the news, knows what I'm talking about.

He has to be gotten rid of somehow, or there is a big possibility that he will completely destroy the United States of America, and possibly even the world. Hopefully it won't happen, and we will be able to stumble through this somehow unscathed, but certainly some of us won't survive in the process. Are the Republicans so selfish, and power-hungry that they will let Trump do absolutely whatever he wants in order to attain his goals? It certainly looks like were about to find out in the very near future as Trump creates one crisis after another in hopes of pushing the Democrats to give him what he wants. What do you think is going to happen as a result of all this? Do you think it's possible that our government could completely collapse? Every day that Donald Trump remains in office, the situation gets worse.

I definitely thought that impeachment would be far too divisive a solution, and that we are to divided as a country for impeachment to function. On the other hand, what are the alternatives? Do you think that at some point the Republicans will demand Trump's resignation, or are they so devoted to him at this point that they're willing to burn absolutely everything to the ground in order to maintain power?
