I know 90% of the newbies on steemit community will be lamenting on the upvote they get after taking their time to post, they dedicate their time, their data and read a lot just to give a quality post to the community. By having a sleepless night and having break from a task just to write post. They might end up not getting upto 0.05. I wont lie to you i am a major victim of that. I spend most of my time to write just to give the community a quality post and i would be expecting to get a big upvote but all i got is not upto 0.8 most times. I felt tired, i complained of beign wasteful of my effort and money just to get a data and make sure i post. There were times i felt discourage to post. But i never gave up. I believe so far people are making it on steemit so why cant i. Even some post could not be too useful but they gain plenty of upvote just for posting only. Everybody have something meaningful to share, either the experience the gratitude and lot more. Dont feel discourage!!.
Concerning this issue i cant just sit and look seeing people making it and all i do is just to sit without looking for a solution. No!!. I read a lot of helping post, lot of curators post and many successful group post on how to make it. I joined group of successful chats eg @dynamicsteemians. I even enter lot of contests like @originalworks, @mediaworks and more.
Now i found answers to my problem after going through a lot of post, chatting with lot of successful groups..
The answer is, "It depends." Here are some of the things it depends on:

Variable exchange rate:

Upvotes are based on STEEM not STEEM dollars, so your account's upvote dollar value will always go up or down based on the market price of a STEEM.

The competition for limited reward pool:

Your reward pool is rewarded if only one person upvotes posts, their upvotes will control the entire reward pool. If my account was idle and then later becomes active, the rewards for my upvotes come from slightly reducing the rewards for everyone else's upvotes. If my account go the other way round the rewards that used to go to my account upvotes will lightly increase the rewards for everyone else's upvotes.

Rate limiting:

Every account normally has the voting power which decreases on each upvote and regenerates at a constant rate, so if you vote a lot, each individual vote will be worth less.
After my long research i notice some solution that will suit the upvoting problem which include

SAVING THE STEEM AND STEEM DOLLAR:

The more you post and comment it is already known that in every post steemit will pay you all the reward you get from your posts after 7 days.

The only help you can render to yourself is that you should take off your mind away from withdrawing your reward pending the time and focus on how to boost your steempower with your rewards and to speed up your steem power.
There are step you need to take:

1. Post as much as posibble: you should post as much as possible so that the little you get from your post you can save it up and start using it to buy your steem power. Also through my research i found out you must have at least 10.000 steempower for you to be enable to get good upvotes and followers that will help your upvoting power.
2. Use your reward to buy yourself steem power: like i said you should erase your mind from withdrawing your rewards pending the time you make effort on boosting your steempower. Downward is the screenshot of how you will buy your steem power either with your steem or steem dollar.
   
   
   

TRY GIVING GOOD COMMENTS TO POSTS

Giving a good comment to other people post will also help you in getting more followers and upvote. Even through your comment you also get good upvote from people.

GIVE QUALITY POSTS

This is also one very important aspect of getting good upvotes, you are new on steemit you can spread your familiarity by giving good and nice posts so that people can find your relevance to the community.

ENTER INTO DIFFERENT CONTEST

With this aspect you will never get tired of contesting if you are determine to make it fast on steemit. This is also a major boost of getting your steempower up. Contest are always available whereby the pay back are always sure. With this you can get more steem and steemdollars from contest every week.
