My New Cinema Lens - Cinema Lens vs Photography Lens
I recently talked about investing in lenses and not camera bodies. Well I recently bough a new Lens and its the Rokinon 35mm Cine 1.5T. You might be wondering whys a Cine Lens and a T-stop? I have a Zeiss Loxia lens for my Sony α7 III - it has an aperture ring and is not focus by wire. It's a manual focus lens and I enjoy using it for photography; not so much for vlogging though. I prefer autofocus for that.
@aperterikk, This is in depth and also an Educating aspect and for sure who are pursuing the Photography Niche for them in my opinion it's really useful and mainly the knowledge is free hear. Keep up and enjoy your work.

As much as I know that this lens is a very good lens and I'm hoping to buy this lens. I do not have the money to buy it now, but when I have the money I'll buy this lens.
Nice! You won't be disappointed. It took me a while to save up for it too. Definitely look online and for it used. I was able to save about 200 bucks getting it used on eBay.

Gteat video, good info. I shall start looking into lenses ( I'll need a lens kit first for my canon m50 I thinks)
If you don't have the knowledge or more importantly the fund do t go for a high end lens. There are still great cheaper/affordable lenses out there. Use what you can and learn and over time then invest in a better lens.

For vlogging I would not get a cinema lens as it won't have autofocus. This lens is for shooting short films or commercial work. For vlogging for a lens with auto focus for sure!

I intend to make use of it for projects (filming) basically but vlog might be a side chain, haha!
