in #tutorials6 years ago

Greetings to the Steemit community ,

In this new tutorial I will show you how to make a bag for tweezers from a pattern, I attach images of the process (step by step) for that wants to perform, since the result is pleasant and we save a lot of money. Any questions about it leave me in the comments.

MATERIALS:

  • 1/2 of Fabric of your liking

  • Scissors

  • Pins

  • Thread

  • Rule

  • Pencil

  • Paper to take out the patterns

  • A Clothes Hook

  • Decorating tapes

WORK PROCESS

  • 1: With a bond paper that I had at home I took out the patterns, in the front with the pencil and the ruler I started measuring 28 cm long, 42 cm wide and 23 cm digonal. to make the circle that is in the middle I did it really hard but the measures were 22 cm long and 13 cm wide since that circle will serve to put our clothespins.

For the back part it is easier even with the ruler and the pencil we take the same measurements from the front but without the circle in the middle.

  • 2: We proceed to cut the patterns and place them on the fabric we are going to use, for each pattern we must cut two pieces of each one.

  • 3: After having our four pieces we will proceed to sew.

  • 4: We will first sew the edges of our circle and then we will turn to make it look more beautiful and more elaborate, after we turn our front we sew the rest and stay as shown in the photo.

  • 5: In this step, after sewing both parts, we will join the back part with the front, the front part will be placed backwards and we proceed to sew.

Let's leave a space above to put the hook and hold our bag for tweezers.

  • 6: After sewing we proceed to flip our clip bag and put the hook inside the bag.

  • 7: I wanted to give it a special touch and on a sheet I drew a shirt and trousers, I passed them to the fabric I wanted to use decorate them and put them in our bag.

Hi, I just found your tutorial. Looks great, I especially love the colors of the fabric.

Do you know #needleworkmonday? It's a community of people who love needleworks - knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross stitch... every craft where a needle is involved is welcome. Each monday we show each other (and the world) what we are working on, what we plan to do or what project just has been finished.

We share our love and passion for the needle arts! Why don't you take a look next time when it's #needleworkmonday again? You're welcome to participate - and it doesn't have to be a lot of text, though there should be some English so everyone can understand it. A lot of us are not native speakers, I do most of my posts in German and English :)
