Why i love Shameless so much.

 I'm talking about TV series, but I do not want to talk about it tediously, year, production and cast.

Of course, cast and production are important factors, technical information, those you find them quietly on wikipedia, I want to talk about what certain series pass me on, why I'm passionate ...

Shameless is a series that follows the story of a family, a bit wacky, the Gallagher, as you enter that house, if you are not respectable you will fall in love with the characters and you can not help but feel a little like them.

Why can not you please the respectable? Simple, Shameless is an incorrect series, with incorrect characters doing wrong things.

Some of us to see it have felt relief, including me, thinking but then if there is a series not only I come from a ramshackle environment? I would almost call it a tragicomic series.

A drunken father with evident psychiatric problems is the pivot of the situation, the pole where the whole family revolves with the consequences of a negligent father who can not be trusted but who remains a father and has an emotional bond with them, turbulent and contrasting but still a hard link to break.

And for those like me who had a parent of that kind there or similar, you miss a bitter laugh because you know that it is so, although it is not always as light as in the series, but you find yourself and think so many times "Already there are me too! "

The family revolves around this father Frank, who tries to squeeze money out of his children and who gets in trouble every hour, sleeps in the drunken driveway and uses alcohol and drugs as if they were candy, causing children to get mad sometimes angry, other moments laugh at us and drag the "old drunkard" on the landing, taking his money out of his pockets for a snack.

And what about them? The biggest Fiona takes care of everyone, arranging herself between chores, lunches, washing machines, diapers, in a house where it is difficult to keep everything clean and tidy and where the troubles are on the agenda as well as the debts and the little money, the changes counted for shopping, overtime and in her there are many dreams set aside because circumstances do not allow it.

 
But Fiona raised her brothers by herself and has a drunken father who she recounts every day, knows how to get by and does not give up in front of challenges, in her own way with the inevitable failures that life puts before you, tries to build a future different from that of a poor girl in the ghetto.

 She manages to carve out space for herself, a night of sex, a drunk, a dance with his friendly friend Veronica, a shiver of life far from obligations and responsibilities. Try to make her way into a world that has not given her so much luck. 

Then she meets Steve and her world falters, for the first time in her life enters a man to trust, not even a shin of saint but love is blind and Steve sincerely loves Fiona despite adversity, it is not a love idyllic but it is real and as such it clashes with the first attempt of cohabitation, a shared bathroom, moments where the habit takes away romance and passion ..  

Then there are the two older brothers, Lip and Ian. Lip young, intelligent, a genius but rebellious, becomes enmeshed in sexual and sentimental relationships with aggressive and problematic girls and somehow thanks to his lifestyle he always manages to fall on his feet as those who have problems are accustomed and know how to navigate inside very well without sink. Resolute, attractive and strong, Lip remains one of the most beloved characters in the series.  

Ian boy who hides his homosexuality, lives one of the most passionate love stories of the series, sweet and in some aspects romantic character, one of the lightest despite the love affairs that accompany his adolescence, being gay in the ghetto is not really the way ' vegetable garden.  And then there are the little ones, three Debbie, Carl and the newborn.  Debbie the little sister to protect unprotected and tender, Carl more lively with a real inclination to violence and vandalism.  An absurd, big family that intertwines with the lives of as many characters as Bukowski would say "I love the solitary, the different, the ones you never meet, the ones lost, gone, witty, fucking, the ones with the soul on fire." so you could describe the characters of Shameless.  That's why I love this series because it shows people with a soul in flames, like me and like so many of us.
