TVShowWayBackChallenge - Remembering AirWolf with me @c0ff33a ☕️
This is a relatively new tag, #TVShowWayBackChallenge started by @saffisara and more and more people are jumping in and sharing their special shows from when they were young. @enginewitty has combined it with the Music Way Back Challenge giving a double bill post of TV and Music.
And the TV Show I would like to share for this post is Airwolf, I am quite sure most people will remember this - my fondest memories are of Stringfellow Hawk driving his Jeep into The Valley of the God's to the secret lair where Airwolf was hidden in a mountain.
The basic Premise of the show is a secret Government agency called the Firm developed Airwolf as a powerful helicopter gunship featuring missiles and guns along with additional jet engines making it fly at incredible speeds. The Genius creator of the Aircraft turned out to be ever so slightly psychotic and stole the completed Airwolf taking it to Libya where he started taking on mission for an extremist group. Stringfellow Hawk, the chief test pilot for Airwolf was sent to recover the Aircraft - he stole it back but then refused to give it back to the Firm - instead hiding it in the mountain lair. Stringfellow refused to return the Aircraft until the Firm found his brother who went missing in the Vietnam war. Archangel the Firm director stuck a deal with Stringfellow Hawk and said he would stop people hunting Airwolf down if Stringfellow Hawk would fly missions for him. Most episodes from the show featured these missions, while Stringfellow Hawk waited to see if his brother would be found.

Thank you very much, this was such a great show - probably more a boy thing with all the exciting explosions. You strike me more of a little house on the prairie type of girl. I’m surprised you had not seen Airwolf, not sure how easy it is to find full episode all I found were short clips.

Thank you very much, I’m pleased you remember this one it was such a great show, always plenty of action in the helicopter scenes and of course when you are young it is all so amazing and exciting.
