Good Job, Twitter
Ashish Kaul, who works with the India branch of an international management consultancy service, has his Twitter account terminated for tweeting unconscionable messages of hate against the Kashmiri Muslims. The police has also lodged an FIR against him on Saturday, 12 May, at Kothi Bagh police station, Srinagar.
His Twitter account has been taken down but the screenshots of his tweets are still being circulated on the internet:
This is not an isolated case of expression of hate for the minorities. The Hindu right, according to some activists, has become belligerent in their expression of hate for the minorities like never before, since Modi became Prime Minister in 2014; they have lynched those they suspected of eating beef and imposed ban on Muslim prayers outdoors.
There's also a heavy protest by the indigenous in Assam against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, which will grant citizenship for the Hindu Bangladeshis. I don't think that hurting the interests of the minorities is a way forward.
