BJ Penn is Served with a TRO Alleging Domestic Violence

Shealen Uaiwa, BJ's girlfiend of 10 years, filed for a TRO against the UFC fighter back in October. A recent hearing extends the TRO until October 8, 2021.

The intial TRO alleges the following (some of those were witnessed):

• Violence
• Sexual abuse
• Verbal threats
• Drunkeness
• Drug use

Shealen said it took her a while to bring the case forward because of fear. She also alleges that BJ has been a drug addict since he was 14.

BJ is scheduled to fight Clay Guida on May 11th. The UFC has not issued a statement. The sad part is the TRO was issued in October 2018 and this is only coming to light now. It seems obvious that there was an attempt to cover up this story initially. The UFC has to come down hard on this because they have done so with other athletes.

The other problem is that the UFC Gyms in Hawaii have BJ Penn's name associated with it. If this is all corroborated, and more details come out, the Gym is going to have serious issues with its marketing.

I hope the UFC cancels the stupid fight against Clay Guida any way.

I hope this is not a sign that BJ has CTE. This is a sad day for Hawaii Martial Arts.
