ULOG #6: A day out at the botanical garden
Monday was a national holiday in Malaysia because it was our king's royal birthday. We decided to go visit the botanical garden with some family friends of ours and their littles.
It was already almost nap time for our little guy so you won't be seeing his handsome face after the above photo, he nestled comfortably in the carrier while his papa wore him.
Both our cars parked near to one of the playgrounds, so you can imagine the look of excitement on their faces as they ran to it like wild little horses! 😂
They had some fun before we went on for a walk to explore the place.
We later passed by a herb garden but it was locked. I guess I only managed to capture these flowers that day, and it was because we did a short stop for a toilet trip.
One might mistake them for the beautiful lavenders when you stand and look from afar. Truth be told I don't even know what their name is, but they were indeed pleasant to look at.
As we continued our journey, we were met by an unexpected guest appearance. The fluffy little one stood still as we pointed it out for the little ones to see, such a cutie!
Ali's friend wasn't too convinced to check out the passing squirrel, he was a little scared that it may jump at them, still, he tried his best to have a look, tho' not too close.
We stopped for a little while to rest and check out the little pond with a running fountain, and while at it, why waste those precious time when you can also take some photos!
The children were so happy they get to blow little bubbles while the adults rested and chat.
But at the end of the day, it's always about the children 😂
It was time for lunch so we decided to make a move, and while walking back we passed by a path that had a pillar walkway. Isn't it beautiful? The place is also well known as a favorite spot for pre-wedding shoots. I forgot to take a photo of the map of the whole garden, there's even a recommended spot for shoots! 😂
As we were nearing the carpark, we spotted some pigeons right next to the playground. From the looks of it it seemed like they were used to making a pit stop over there in hopes of getting people to feed them.
The children were all excited, and so were our little humans! Without much thought they dashed out and went to join the crowd 😂
See, so much fun!! The children happily chased after the pigeons, poor birds!
After that we went to KFC for lunch, and on the way back if started to rain. Even the playground downstairs was flooded. Phew, what a day!

OMGosh! Look at those lavender flowers! I can almost smell them from here. I absolutely LOVE lavender flowers.

Oh we did! The weather wasn't too hot and it was breezy. We walked under lots of shades and the children enjoyed themselves too :)
