Angela's Five Minute Freewrite - #11 - Day 329 - Prompt: Runny - Thursday, September 13, 2018 - ULOG #27
Hi there, Steem Fam,
Welcome to another freewrite inspired by @MarianneWest's Daily Five Minute freewrite prompts.
Writing a daily freewrite is also a simple and fun way to write my daily ulog because my freewrite shares a part of me, my thoughts and feelings on different but very specific topics.
If you are not yet freewriting, I invite you to find @mariannewest's latest daily freewrite, grab a timer, relax, promise yourself to have fun and just... write, non-stop, until that timer buzzer goes off.

His eyes were not runny.
No ewwish soft mucous dripped from them.
They were just closed.
As if he didn't want to see every thing around him.
When I spoke to him, he moved his head and cocked his ears to listen.
There was also some answering movement beneath his eye lids.
But they remained closed.
He had beautiful eyes.
Stunning, really.
Just like his Dad's.
Piercing, cool gray that stopped you in your tracks.
Almost but not quite frightening.
He was too rolly-polly cuddly to be frightening.
But what happened?
When did his eyes go from eagerly scanning everything, open, alive and watchful?
To closed, lidded, concealing?
He and his sister were too skittish to pet, much less hold.
Will the vet be able to tell me the story behind this sweet kitten's closed eyes?
