5th #ULOG: The Taste of Baguio's Best!

A pleasant afternoon to all! :)

Being sick right now doesn't prevent me from sharing my 5th #ulog to you guys. :)

Even though we were not able to come with my dad in Baguio, we're still happy to taste some of it's best products! :)

This is what we call "Lengua de Gato". It is a tasty and milky biscuit that melts in your mouth. Best for kids who doesn't have much teeth yet and to old people who already have their teeth gone. :) Kidding aside, this is one of my favorite biscuits! :) Everything that is milky or creamy, I'm sure to like it! :)

This one is the "Ube Jam". In english, Ube is a Purple Yam. :) This is a very popular delicacy of Baguio. They say that your Baguio trip will never be complete if you haven't tasted or bought this Ube Jam. This Jam is made by Good Shepherd Sisters (nun) for a specific mission. They say that is is a food for the soul. :) In fact, for me it tastes like heaven! :) A perfect kind of dessert after meal. The sweetness is just so right as well as it's thickness. :)

Another delicacy to completer a Baguio taste experience is the famous Strawberry jam. :) This, together with a butter is a perfect spread for sandwich. :) This is a jam filled with real strawberries inside.

This one is a Peanut brittle. :) It consists of nuts coated with a sugar candy. Perfect for person with a sweet tooth like me! :) I usually eat it as my snack or as a dessert after meal. :)

*Well, Baguio is really one of the best! :) Aside from being one of the best tourist spots in the Philippines, it's products are so classic and worth exporting. This is something that we, Filipinos must all be proud of. :) *
