Ulog #17 - Sunshine and A Poem
Hi all! I'm feeling a little under the weather today so I thought I'd share some sunshine and a poem I wrote.
This shot reminds me that no matter how tattered I feel the sun will shine and nurture my hidden beauty.
This shot reminds me of childhood adventures through the woods and fields. It makes me feel peaceful.
I've decided to take a crack at writing poetry again. I'm a little rusty.
Strewn with seeds
My path veered hard
Around a shining pool.
I leaned and stretched
To glimpse myself
But only spied a fool.
I peered behind
The seeds were gone
Scattered in the wind.
The day turned dark
And thunder cracked
It shook me from within.
My vision dimmed
My senses dulled
A bubble quickly formed.
I floated along
Through the woods
Protected from the storm.
Goddess I prayed,
I've lost my way
Take me from this night.
The bubble burst
I feared the worst
And sprang into the light.
