My Ulog 013: Traffic is REAL!

Our duty hour ends every 5 o'clock in the afternoon if we don't have classes. I suppose to feel happy knowing that I could go home early. Home is my comfort zone. Seeing the family at home is a destresser to me. Moments with the family after dinner is a sort of unwinding to me. Resetting all the body fatigue and stressful moments. But those things will be gone when heavy traffic strikes every 5o'clock. Our office is located near the bridge connecting the two islands and also a bottle-neck for vehicles from or to Mandaue city. Everyday, there is always traffic congestion. It really adds stress to everyday work.

Today, @jeseica and I decided to walk along Mactan bridge. The bridge has an estimated distance of approx. 1Km. For me that is already far. People who loves workout would really enjoy the walk. But for people who just came from work and looking forward to go home as much as possible then it is not a good idea. But today, we do not have choice but walk rather than spending much to wait for a jeepney for long hours.

While walking along the bridge, I took pictures of some of the beautiful sceneries.

This is the top view when you are crossing the bridge. These are the rooftops of the houses near the footbridge. These houses are made of light materials. Some of them is already at the seashore. Some are located near the oil station or bunker station for ships. When it is high tide, the water will reach at the flooring of the other small houses. I do not know why they settle on that area despite of the uncomfort brought by the sea.

While we are walking along the bridge, we enjoyed the sea breeze. It's so cool. We never felt tired infact we don't even realized that we have reached the other other side.

It's almost 6pm, thanks God I got the chance to capture the beautiful sunset in Cebu.
