#ulog 1 - Afternoon Delight

Good day fellow steemians, i just want to share my blog while i was travelling to Oslob. It was a delightful afternoon as I watched and explore the majestic views of Oslob.

This town has so many historical places. As i drive into to coastal side of the town i was delighted to see structural ruins which gave me a glimpse of the past.. The ruins are well preserved and is blended with its landscaped seaside park where students and families relax while waiting for time to pass by.

This structure is known as "baluarte", a massive stone tower built out of carved stoned fitted together. According to the locals, it was used as a watchtower to guard and make an early warning against the moro invaders that harass the community and even kidnap children for slave trading.

After relaxing in the park, we visited the church of Oslob. The solemnity of the place brings me.peace and adoration to our creator.

The whole afternoon stride refreshing giving me a good break from the previous days of exhausting work preparing dozens of reports. It is really nice to reward yourself once in a while to recharge for the next task to be done.
