I am excited to announce our weekly contest has transformed into 5 contests! This week we will be rolling out our International Ulog Contest! We will have a commenting contest with our community and the various international communities within it. We will pick a Ulog from each community and we will have a comment contest there. Currently, we have 4 international communities and a 'group curation trail' community.

A major problem I have noticed with my group is the large amount of users who do not have the luxury of using their native language with applying strategies for Steemit such as engagement or appeasing English speaking whales or communities. Nowhere is it said you must use English for Steemit, yet it is implied as most the large upvotes or sp holders seem to be coming from English speaking persons, this also applies to most large communities I've found. This issue seems to make these very same people feel the need to plagiarise to get ahead on Steemit.

While hosting a comment contest for our discord server, our international communities have felt intimidated by using English to make 'quality comments' and I see the Ulog initiative by @surpassinggoogle on the Steemgigs discord server as the perfect opportunity to help international users not feel the need to plagiarise on Steemit and better engage in their native tongue on Steemit. Our solution will be to promote Ulogs and provide community curators from our discord server The Dynamic Steemians, to help spur engagement and more Steemit activity, not to mention retention on the Steemit Platform.

Dynamic Steemian community curators are:

@baa.steemit is our group curator, curating our curation trail Ulog area. @baa.steemit also will curate the Philippine Ulog community.

@rabiujaga will represent the Nigerian community.

@symonp will represent the Vietnamese community.

@dynamicgreentk will help with the Indonesian community as they are not as active with Ulogs yet and the large part of that community is with @suheri over at @promo-steemrural discord. Communication is sporadic with this community as they are constantly working to promote Steemit in their villages in Aceh. Really a leader from this community is next to receive sp to help curate their group on our discord server.

• Each person mentioned above has 500 steem power delegated to them to better help them curate their group's posts on our server.

  • Except for the Indonesian/Aceh community. I will help there when they provide Ulogs to curate and to have a contest around.

This week there will be only four contests as the Indonesian community has yet to provide a Ulog.

Each group will be given the opportunity to win @steembasicincome shares and the dynamic steemians curation trail vote.

Each group leader will:

• make a post, to signal the start of the contest, in which they detail who the Ulog is from, why they choose it and will encourage native languages from each community to be used. They will also make comments with their community on said Ulog post that is chosen for the week.

• choose the winner weekly for the Steem Basic Income share(s).

• choose who gets the curation trail vote.

How to win?

• For Steem Basic Income shares:

  • Make as many quality comments and replies as possible on selected Ulog. Quality comments must be given. Preferential treatment will be shown for using native languages. Replies do not have to be directed to you to make a comment.

• For the Dynamic Steemians Curtation Trail vote:

  • Must be a member of the trail.
  • Each group curator will choose the trail vote winners.

Weekly Prizes for each community:

• Two Steem Basic Income shares to top commentor

• One Steem Basic Income share for second best commentor

• 2 people will be awarded Curation trail vote per community.

  • People awarded must be following the curation trail.

  • Curation Trail community will be awarded Three votes from the trail not two.

  • Curation trail votes will be from @steemauto fanbase via the @dynamicsteemians account.

Each group curator will make a post this week announcing their Ulog posts that they have choosen from their communities.
