This is the opinion of a colleague of mine he is also my good friend, we finished from the same school futminna.

There are no obstacle too big for a willing country to surmount, the reason political will is critical in the attainment of an advanced status.
For a better tomorrow, Nigeria must look at the value system that heightens corruption and violent crimes.
Under this condition, building a future that will cater to the needs of the people require the emergence of men and women of good virtues. This is a challenge for young Nigerians like Boluwaji Braimoh who have expressed their desire to make the difference in the life of a country hampered by poor education.

Why is Africa where it is?

Why has Nigeria not lifted itself out of the quagmire of poverty and violence?
Why have the African people not been able to make their governments fear them?
These questions and more are behind the journey for revival that Boluwaji has embarked on. His search for the answers is the reason he travelled the knowledge path to reveal the issues at the heart of Africa and Nigeria’s problems. Boluwaji is in his late twenties but he has researched the politics of existence of great nations and has seen the possibilities of Nigeria’s greatness, greatness in the true sense of the word.

In his new book “Reclaiming Hope” he states that Africa is about turning a corner for good. His optimism stems from the hunger for change he sees in an emerging generation of visionary young people. He is sure that “Africa is edging closer to fulfilling her staggering potential”.
According to the author “Reclaiming Hope outlines the imperatives for this emerging generation. It affirms that understanding our root and reviving our values are essential in evolving a strong identity. Rethinking faith in a new way can help to find inspiration for a new culture of civility, tolerance and mutual respect”.
Leadership is key if this will be achieved.

Having studied Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Boluwaji calls for the reworking of the mechanics of the Nigerian system.
He tells you all you need to know in another of his book “This Country Nigeria”. The book is about Nigeria’s history, culture and politics.
The book answers the following questions:

Who were the major peoples brought together to form Nigeria?
How did Nigeria emerge?
Who were the actors that fought for independence?
How did they achieve the feat of freedom?
How come we are where we are today?

Boluwaji Davids Braimoh is the author of two books and the editor of the book “Nigerian Great Speeches”. He is a passionate Nigerian working for the transformation of Africa.
In this interview, he ventured into the realm of history and politics to reclaim hope for the people of Africa. The answers he provoke open a new frontier for rich conversations on Nigerian and African Affairs.
