Ulog Diary #03: Making the Most Out of a Weekend Morning

Weekend mornings are always better spent with family. It doesn't have to be grand or an out of town adventure. What matters is, you get to spend it together.

What I share here are some of the snaps I took on our weekend morning. Most of our weekend mornings are comprised of walks and picnic at some random parks within the Metro Manila.

The main purpose for the said morning walks is actually to give our daughter (she's 10-months old now) a break from the confinement in our apartment and a breath of fresh air. That, plus it gives tita (the one who takes care of her), a break as well from watching her during the weekdays when we are at work.

This particular weekend morning was spent in Bonifacio Global City which started off with a kinda heavy breakfast at Mcdo, followed by lingering at the De Jesus Oval to play with some dogs and cats and concluded with a walk (and some picture taking) at the Greenway Park.

We've been to this park a few times already but it still amazes me to hear the chirping of the birds and crickets among the trees when only a few meters away, quite a lot of skyscrapers can be found.

Weekend mornings don't have to be grand or an out of town adventure. Sometimes, it could just be walking in the neighborhood and grabbing some taho in the area or having your morning coffee and breakfast in your front yard. What matters really is, you get to spend it together with your family and you made every second of it count.
