Friday after a hot kitchen day
At the end of two sweltering days, there is nothing better than the gentle lead up to a braai. A natter with The Husband and wine while the fire does its thing.

And then the final product which included roasted baby carrots from the garden. With lemon and coriander pesto. An experiment that will feature as part of this Sunday's Supper.
Oh, and @quillfire, that pork neck chop was definitely not eaten with knife and fork!
