A million years ago, in a past life, I was associated with a company that did trade shows on a regular basis. I know what it takes to conceive and set up a stand and run it for days. This time around, it's my business and a wedding expo. This last is where the sense of de ja vu ends. Those shows usually involved food and wine, health and plants.

I am thrilled with how the @destinationmcgregor stand turned out. Bits and bobs to add today. All of it possible and thanks to two magnificent McGregor artisans whose work is to be found all over South Africa and the world. And, of course, The Husband's ability to make a plan.

We won't talk about the chairs that flew off the back of the pickup. They were picked up. Bruised but not broken.

So, today is day one. Let's see what it holds!
