#ULOG 403 - Daily Thoughts - 10 Jul 18 - Homesteading Today...

Sorry everyone, I thought this posted last night, but it apparently didn't go through, so without further ado here's yesterdays #ULOG. :D
Good Morning, Steemians!
Its another high humidity day, 80% humidity, ugh, its already 20 C and its only 0715 hours. I hope Belle will come to the barn early, because it’ll soon be too hot in the barn. :D (Thankfully she was happy to cooperate this morning, YAY! :D)

Belle was still sleeping when I let the puppies and grand-puppies out, until they started barking at her that is, LOL. :D Since they woke her up, I decided to ask her if she wanted to go to the barn early and get her milking done before it got too hot and humid, I took the fact that she stood right up and turned towards the barn as a yes. :D

Candy (1) and Princess (2) weren’t happy that the puppies and grand-puppies woke them up. Princess even said so by mooing very loudly over and over until the dogs all stopped barking and just stared at her, LOL. :D

These seven chicks all ran to the back of the coop when I brought their refilled waterer. :D

This one decided to be brave and ran past me to go outside and find some bugs. :D

Princess doing a quick check on the boys in the main pasture before coming for her oats. :D

Joker (1), Leroy (2), and Buddy (3) were tired and wanted to sleep a bit longer this morning. :D

They’ve got full bellies so its time for Billy (1) and Joel’s (2) post-breakfast nap. :D

The skies have turned grey and chased our sunshine away, oh and here comes the rain, oh joy, okay its just a light rain and rain is better than snow, so I say YAY RAIN! :D

The last of the chickens have run back into the barn but Belle (1) and Candy (2) had no cover in front of the barn and had to head into the trees to get out of the downpour. :D

The rain has stopped, and the sun is trying to come back out, YAY! :D

The chickens have come back out to find any bugs/grubs/worms available after that refreshing rain. :D Belle settled in for a nap. :D

Candy (1), Princess (2), Joker (3), Leroy (4), and Buddy (5) all heading down to the back of their pastures to get under cover before the rain comes back, which by the sound of the thunder, won’t be long before it arrives again. :D

The rain returned this afternoon, and Belle headed into those trees for cover. :D

The sun is coming back out just in time for sunset pictures, YAY! :D
